A: For Medical Equipment, Medicare and most private insurances pay 80%, leaving 20% of the allowed charges (plus any deductable amounts) for the patient to pay. These remaining amounts may be covered completely or in part by a secondary insurance, and patient(s) will be made aware of any out-of-pocket expenses prior to accepting services.
